Imagine: it's a blistering Friday afternoon in August and you can't wait to leave work. When you finally escape, what better way is there to celebrate the start of the weekand than with food, friends and a few icy cold ones?
Join us at the Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo's 14th annual happy hour fundraiser - Brew at the Zoo...and wine, too! to benefit the Zoo, the care and feeding of its animals and its education programs.
Guests will taste over a dozen regional wines and nearly 60 different beers, eat delicious food and enjoy live music provided by Dave Hanlon's Cookbook. Who knew philanthropic endeavors could taste so good?
Anyone under the age of 21, including infants and toddlers, will not be admitted.
Tickets available for purchase at the zoo and at Blue Tusk, Middle Ages Brewing Company and Party Source. For more information or to purchase tickets over the phone, call (315) 435-8511 x180.
Looking forward to attending Brew at the Zoo, but don't want to drive? You don't have to. Catch the bus!
The Brew at the Zoo Bus, courtesy of the Armory Square Association, will pick up at 5:00 and 5:15 p.m. on Walton Street in front of Blue Tusk and will return zoo guests to Armory Square at the conclusion of the event.
