Red wolves are critically endangered. Measures are being taken to protect this species throughout its range and through captive breeding and reintroduction programs.
Reservations are required for all programs. There is limited space in each program so please register early. A minimum number of registrants is required to run a program.
All education programs, including edZOOcation, camps, and overnights, will run as scheduled unless the Zoo has been closed by order of Onondaga County administration. Sorry, but no refunds or rain checks will be given for 'no-shows' for any reason.
Scout groups, Rotary, home school... if you belong to, or are active in any of these or other groups and would like to arrange a custom educational program on a specific topic, call the Zoo's education department (315) 435-8511 x206. We will work with your group to design a special program to meet your needs.
Fees, times and availability depend on the program content, duration and materials needed. When considering such a program, please plan at least 6 weeks in advance
A minimum number of participants is required to run all programs. Pre-registration is required. Spaces will be filled on a first come first served basis. For more information, call 435-8511 x205 or e-mail lschmidt@rosamondgiffordzoo.org.
