Though it is called a red fox, this canine can be red, black and a number of shades in between. Both an opportunistic scavenger and a skilled hunter of small animals, the red fox has adapted the technique of sometimes catching its prey and burying it in snow or dirt for consumption at a later time.
Funds raised through our Adopt-an-Animal program support a variety of projects, including habitat improvements, animal enrichments, research and training.
Adopting an animal makes a unique gift, perfect for any birthday, holiday, special occasion or commemoration. Give the perfect present to the person who has everything! ![]()
