Saturdays and Sundays in October

Join us for a "kooky-not-spooky" daytime Halloween celebration. The zoo transforms into a hauntingly fun destination for the whole family with trick-or-treat stations, creepy crawly animal encounters, keeper chats, games, activities, photo ops and costume parade! So, wear your costumes and bring your treat bags for this fall-favorite event!

Themed Weekends:

October 14-15: Superheroes

October 21-22: Witches and Wizards

October 28-29: Your Favorite Movie or TV Characters

Enjoy a “sleepy hollow” experience at the zoo with a Spooky Stroll through the Wildlife Trail.

Mysterious fog and eerie music spill over our decorated trail, giving a unique Halloween feel to visitors without being too scary for the little ones. A trick-or-treating station in the Animal Health Center will have a photo op where Zoo Boo participants can pose for photos.

1:30 p.m. Outreach Animal Keeper Chat | Upper Lobby – Saturdays

Giant Pacific Octopus Keeper Chat | Upper Lobby – Sundays

2:30 p.m. Bird Keeper Chat | Across from the Pole Barn

3 p.m. Event concludes

Zoo Boo Birthday Party Package

FOR CHILDREN 2 AND UP

Saturdays and Sundays

10 a.m. | Noon | 2 p.m.

12 guest minimum (including 2 adults). Must reserve two weeks in advance. Full payment due at booking. Additional package price is $32 per child. Max capacity is 15 children with 15 adults. Package does not include food/drinks for attending adults. Additional pizza and beverages for adults can be ordered in advance.

Your party includes:

Private party space for 1.5 hours
Sheet pizza with paper plates, forks and napkins
