Art Gone Wild is an annual auction of extraordinary artwork by zoo animal artists at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY. These paintings are a part of many animals training and enrichment activities at the zoo. Enrichment and training are very important aspects of animal care at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo to keep our animals physically and mentally stimulated and healthy!
Art Gone Wild is put on by the Rosamond Gifford Zoo's chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers. This is a professional group meant to advance excellence in the zookeeping profession, make advancements in animal care and welfare, as well as promote conservation of animal species throughout the world. Proceeds from Art Gone Wild events benefit animal care and enrichment, professional development of Zoo Keepers, and support conservation efforts locally and around the world!
