Participants will explore the history of elephant endotheliotropic herpesvirus (EEVH) at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo and learn how elephant care team members have managed and cared for elephants affected by it. The presentation will highlight the extensive preparation, specialized training, and ongoing commitment involved in protecting the zoo's elephants, with a particular focus on the EleTwins.
